The manga also contradicts itself at times … example itachi saying if they fought jiraiya him and kisame would both be killed ……. Most of us know damn well that wasn’t happening but it was said so do we take it as facts or do we chose to interpret it how we want ?

But if the writer of the story didn't write this arc... it loses all credibility. It also contradicts things that we've seen and been told in the main story which is why people hate it. Nothing wrong with tying up loose ends, you're right every story should do that, but it should be done within the manga. I'm a firm believer in having side chapters and extra chapters in manga so that we can spend more time with the characters. Most manga are so focused on the plot progressing that we always feel like we need more when it ends. I don't like a studio making a filler story that contradicts the manga though.

I will say this: this filler is pretty good until the fight happens. The fight is dogshit and is CLEARLY filler given the inconsistencies, but everything else is a pretty decent story. Doesn't do anything plot wise though as kishimoto never would've agreed on something that had someone use rasengan like thousands of years ago. As we seen backed with minato's one shot manga that btw you HAVE to both read once you've finished the story! It's completely canon and written by kishimoto. It's so good.

Funny thing is I didn’t even realize that these episodes were fillers since they were in a way part of the storyline. So when friend mentioned like hey you didn’t have to watch them they were filler I was I like how didn’t you watch it?! It was so interesting and addicting 😭 (fyi I watched it when it aired at the time which I believe was 2014/2015? I don’t remember I was an 8th grader at the time) when I recently rewatched the show I definitely rewatched these episodes.

When I first watched Naruto, I had no idea what fillers were since I was new to anime. After finishing the show, I thought it was really good. But then, after seeing other people's reactions and reading the comments on their videos, I finally realized what fillers were 🤡. It's understandable that most people dislike fillers, but let's be real…you guys who are subscribed are the ones entering your card details and paying to watch these reactions. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to stay subscribed. All you need to do is go to your settings, click the membership tab, and cancel it until the show is over. That way, you can come back and binge the episodes you want to watch. It’s not that hard 💀

Ron did a wonderful explanation about what I really like with the Kaguya stuff, aliens from different planets, and different forms of life and reasoning behind how things are going. It also makes so much sense with Naruto since it was introduced to us with the tailed beasts and what they actually are, their evolution, planets, and reasons. I guarantee you guys will love this, especially in "Boruto," which focuses exactly on these elements.

I'm glad you guys decided to react to these episodes. Even though they are fillers, those eps add lore and context in which all the subsequent events in the story originated from, filling in all the blanks that the manga canon story might've left, so I wouldn't call It "filler", It's more like anime canon, per say, not to mention they're pretty enjoyable. And, regarding your questions about the Divine Tree and chakra, I'm pretty sure It'll all be answered in the next couple of episodes and, by now, you're already aware of everything, since you've already watched them. Another thing... Please, when you're done with the show or even after you react to "The Last", consider also reacting to "Road to Ninja: Naruto the movie". These two movies are, By far, the best Naruto movies aver created, really, really worth watching.

They'll likely find a stopping point half way through One Piece and take a break from that to start Boruto. Even if they dont, Bleach is the shortest of the big 3. It only has about 200 episodes when you remove the filler, not counting the latest seasons that have recently aired. Really wont be that long at all. They got through 200 episodes of One Piece in like 9 months.

Not sure what Ashura means but Indra is the god of thunder in Hinduism.
