2019-05-20 21:36:15 +0000 UTCHBO has confirmed that there will be a prequel GoT series, set 1000 years before the events of the show. They'll be using GRRM's other books as some source material. I'm sure, by then, he'll have the 6th book done, and they'll make a sequel series to GoT based on that book. And another sequel series when the 7th book is done. These last two books are supposed to be around 1500 pages long, so that's enough to get a 2 season x 10-episodes (20 episodes total) from each book maybe.
