Not complaining but just something I noticed, even watching with them i'm having a hard time keeping up, but didn't have a problem when watching the dub years ago. Hopefully they're looking at the recap comments to help them understand what's going on.

Nunally is crippled and they cant live in the dorms so they live there. Doesnt have anything to do with money or being royalty. It was also explained somewhere in the 1st or 2nd episode that the Ashford family helps them out a lot (the blonde student council president's family.) It is a family of dukes if i recall correctly. If you see someone in a black student outfit, or a tan one for the females, they are Britannian (except Suzaku.) Thats why the entire class was afraid of Suzaku. Racism is a big thing in this show. Yes, that king who spoke at the end is Lelouch's dad. Anyone who is a prince or princess, that is their dad. They are all brothers and sisters. Different mothers. Lelouch is related to Prince Clovis, just like he is related to Princess Euphemia (pink haired girl.) That is his sister.
