The second season, The Kyoto Saga is what really takes place after episode 16. If you watch the second season forgot the end of the anime, it's like Tokyo Ghoal A, as in that shit does not matter.

2019-05-31 03:47:49 +0000 UTCJust to reiterate that episode 17 of blue exorcist and onward to 25 is all anime original and supposedly never even happened. I haven't watched season 2 of blue exorcist but supposedly they just brush those last 8 episodes off like it never happened but someone can correct me if i'm wrong.
