It's always interesting when they change the title depending on the region. Sometimes it's for cultural reasons or words have different meanings, but in this case I wonder if it was just a translation issue? Either way, the show is great and the remake is just as amazing so far, it's on season 2.

Oh, trust me, I looked at myanimelist, that's why I said it's "slightly underrated". I think it could be an 8.7 out of 10 at least, but a number of people out of the 1+ million gave it a low rating bringing it to an 8.20 out of 10. So, that's slightly underrated to me. I think that's just the 1st season too, so I'd need to average in the other 2 seasons.

But yeah, I hope they do Rurouni Kenshin, such a great classic and the remake makes it definitely a great anime for newer anime watchers to be able to enjoy!

If you check on myanimelist for example, the anime has more then 1M people that rated the anime and its average its 8.20 out of 10, with one million pool votes. So i dont think people rate it low, a lot of people love it, few people dont like it and its all fine.

Some scenes were cool like when luffy stopped Nami from repeatedly stabbing her arm in arlong park and I admit that Usopp is hilarious. But other than that, it's pretty mediocre but it is older, injuries and death are major plotholes in this show among others

Personally, I think it is slightly underrated (people giving it a low rating because it's "boring" & less action oriented) but overall, I think it has a well-deserved above average rating for its story, concept, characters, etc.
