Btw I always heard from older people like my dads age and so on that when this movie came out people lost their mind. In a good way, like it blew everyone's minds for how the empire basically won this fight and the vader/luke reveal and I guess the guy who plays Lando was a famous person at the time so people got all loud and hyped up in the theater when he showed up on screen.

Serious fans and fans of George Lucas choose to basically ignore those last 3 for those reasons.

Star Wars Clone Wars and Episode 3 brings as many emotions as Naruto Shippuden. I cried so much like on Naruto characters dead. There is Katharsis effect in story like in Naruto. I'm an old fart who've seen every movie at the theater and watched every episode of every show at least once. Be prepared for the Star War mafia to chime in about every decision you make. What order to view them in is just the beginning. I personally agree with the choice of doing episodes 4-6 first. Vast majority of folks will say watch episode 1 next but not me I say "Rogue One". The toughest decision for you folks will be how deep of a dive into the story you want to go. Every movie and show tells the story of that particular time line. Rogue One takes place 1 year before IV and episode 1 is 32 yrs, 2 is 22 yrs, 3 is 19 yrs. In between 2 and 3 the Clone Wars show takes place. There are 2 movies and shows between 3 and 4 the question is how deep a dive. Great reaction and take care

The way the force work is pretty complex and more focused on in the prequel Trilogy 1,2,3. It will give y’all more insight on it.

To give a better picture, when making the first movie he had no idea if he could fit his entire story in a movie or if it would even be successful to garner sequels to even tell the story he wanted. So in regards to his original overarcing vision of the full story, he basically decided to start the first movie at the middle where all the "action" and interesting stuff is to immediately pull in audiences. What this indicates is that George already had a basic outline of the prequels in mind too. The Clone Wars being mentioned in the first movie is proof of this. The finer details of the story and characters were being tweaked and made up over time while making the original trilogy. In the first movie, George Lucas intended for Luke's father and Darth Vader to be two seperate people. It was changed obviously for this movie. George Lucas even had outline plans for the sequels after the events of the Original Trilogy, which he gave to Disney when he sold and gave over the property rights to Star Wars to them. But Disney chose not to use it and decided to go with where they wanted to take the story.

2025-01-03 07:13:15 +0000 UTC7, 8 and 9 werent part of Star Wars Legends which Legends is referring to before Disney buying the franchise off George Lucas and a lot of stuff got retconned or became non-canon revolving around this era of Star Wars, so you can treat 7,8 and 9 as separate story, it does continue off from 6 years ahead but its pretty much like Boruto where its based of a different generation and people dont really associate it with the OG Lucas storyline.

But because those ones werent made by Lucas direction (He retired), they made up many things that brake the story that was built by the previous movies. So it is up to you. The prequels (Made by Lucas) gives us context regarding the originals. I will not say too much, but you will have answered many questions you already have. I must recommend you to watch (After the Return of the Jedi, the last original) the first and second prequel, and then right before the third you can watch The Clone Wars series. But that its just a suggestion, because it will not be bad if you watch the third and then the series. The series are cannon and they are right between the second and third movie, so it gives more context and builds up the story line towards whats going to happen. But you decide, my friends :D I wanna keep following you! Hope my English was good enough, and that I didnt tell any potential spoiler or something

The original might the best trilogy and I understand why the OT fans hate the prequels so much. It could have been so good but somehow the execution wasn't done properly. The original trilogy in comparison is basically perfect, the acting, the dialogue, I can't find any flaw, you start watching and before you know it, you're fully invested and then the episode is over.

So they did him some homage with the initial scene where he was scarred up to make sense of the actual scars and changes to his face.
