I disagree, its a fine ending not great mind you but it works and doesn't degrade the series in my opinion. I watched the anime before I read the manga and honestly both endings work for me. The anime and the manga went in different directions and that's perfectly fine. I can see where people wouldn't like the anime ending and I do think it coulda used a bit of set up but its definitely not a terrible ending.

Soul eater is a very fun and good anime to watch but the one thing every show needs to be great or amazing is a good ending and this anime’s ending is awful. BTW rip to the ppl in the Kyoto fire that is really tragic🙏🏽

You could always carry over the anime into the next month. The problem with the viewing model you are using is that you restrict yourself from watching longer anime. I think nobody would complain if Soul Eater was next month's anime as well and it didn't require a poll. Because the thing is, if for some reason, people vote for something else in September you are leaving the anime incomplete and maybe by the time you get to it again you would have forgotten stuff that happened in the first half of the anime. It'd be great if we can also suggest longer anime, even if it takes longer to complete, as long as it's something people vote for.

Soul eater is split into a few parts on Netflix and Hulu. It wasn't originally made in seasons but honestly the way they split it it up on the streaming services isn't terrible, so if you did part 1, I think that would be dope. Although doing the whole thing would be frickin awesome.
