It's understandable that not everyone is able to take interest and enjoy stories that focus on a good plot without having much action and fighting scenes. Always will be supporting you guys and I enjoy and love the discussions and when you guys play and joke around in your videos. Also Michelle's singing is fire!!! XD

FMAB in particular is one of the more story/dialogue heavy anime out there so it makes perfect and realistic sense for y’all to just be silently watching most of the time because i mean, you’re just following along with the story. I think it’s great that you guys are fully engaged with the show. I don’t find it boring whatsoever especially since i’m over here trying to follow along as well considering it’s been years since i’ve last watched this masterpiece ^^ it’s one of my favorite animes of all time so it’s just a great experience rewatching this with you guys.

FMAB isn't super flashy but that's what I love about it it's more so about the lore, story and mystery but when the action does pop off its so good similar to Hunter x Hunter it had legendary fights but great dialogue and mystery. Gotta love when a story is so good that a great story carries it and you don't need a bunch of fights all the time although I love fights. Yalls reactions are just fine to me no worries it's not boring to me its natural you're just being yourselves plus you gotta pay attention and read the info in the subtitles. FMAB one of those shows with lot of info dumps.

2025-01-12 22:25:59 +0000 UTCFor me personally FMAB is a top-tier anime and Im really glad you're watching it. Yes, this anime is not really flashy, but it has depts and real world problems. Anime where you're enjoying the show because of the plot and how good characters are from a moral standpoint and not because of flashiness and cool techniques. Its a show where characters have dignity and clear goals and follow them till the end. FMAB sits at the highest spot of imdb rating for a REASON.

2025-01-12 17:50:23 +0000 UTCI think another reason for low engagement for FMAB might be the dub vs sub thing. If watched in dub, the sub people might turn away. If watched in sub, the dub people might turn away. Most people are okay with sub for most shows but are begging for dub in certain anime like FMAB, Death Note or Code Geass, and if not watched in dub they turn away. Just my guess. It’s basically what people are used to. A lot of people probably watched FMAB dubbed when they were younger, and then are used to it and want to watch it dubbed, without giving sub even a chance. During EP1 reaction, a lot of people said the sub is straight up trash which makes me believe they haven’t even tried it, as FMAB has in japanese an All-Star cast of the most respected voice actors in the industry. Like most of the characters has at least one role you guys recognize from big shows.
