I can't help but feel like that's a very shallow view on dubbed anime, because subbed anime is for sure harder to watch for me. Japanese and english have different ways of emoting, so saying on sounds objectively better than the other is on the eye, or in this case ear, of the beholder. Basicly dubbed or subbed neither are better, just some sound better than the other for certain anime. In this case I feel like the dubbed for Soul Eater is a lot better than the original Japanese.

2019-08-14 05:38:11 +0000 UTCI ended up loading up the actual episodes and syncing them to the reaction's audio, if that helps at all. It can be a slight pain to do at first but I watch a lot of timer reactions that are off by a couple seconds so I've gotten used to doing that.

2019-08-12 00:34:05 +0000 UTCMeh I hope they stay subbed. I grew up watching dubbed FMA just like the rest of you but Japanese humor and emotion can never be conveyed properly in dub. You end up having to completely change character lines and jokes just so they make sense in English. A lot of the time you don't end up noticing how awkward a line in English is because you have nothing to compare it to until you've watched sub. They've actually given a fair amount of series a chance at this point in dub ( they always mention oh I tried an episode of this or that in dub ) and never were impressed and I'm inclined to agree. Plus some of yall acting like Dub / Sub is gonna make or break whether or not they enjoy the series lol if its good its good.

So try and understand that, whatever may be your own personal preference, at least you've already seen and and enjoyed it your way, so let them enjoy it their way. How do I know they'll enjoy it just as much? Cuz I've seen both and liked it either way XP

2019-08-09 00:32:14 +0000 UTCThe sub is fine, guys, come on now lol Maka admittedly sounds better in the dub, that I can say, but the rest is fine, like any other sub. I prefer subs for myself and will watch the dub with my friends so I've seen this anime both ways and can attest to it being just as good to watch in sub lol

How he ain't know she wasn't a real witch? And he was straight up savage with Blackstar. "Should've done away with her and took the souls for himself." I love how they make him into this goofy character, but he's lowkey savage (I mean he is Death)

2019-08-08 00:34:03 +0000 UTCI also think that they would get more from the dub than the original Japanese, but they seem to really dislike dubbed anime, so I doubt they would be willing to even consider that. They even watched Fullmetal Alechemist Brotherhood in Japanese if I remember right.
