Guys they clearly said Hes one of only 10 in this country (Korea) obviously theres more S ranks, you know the brother hwang is an American S rank, so he doesnt even count towards how many S ranks are in the country, even though he is korean. The ranking system is very simple. E rank is the lowest, Then D, Then C, then B, then A, then S. Each of these ranks also has levels within that rank. So u can be S and still be weak in comparison to some other S ranks. For example Kim was A but would lose in comparison to Jinchul who is considered the top tier for A.

Just a rant to DanMachi viewers: Whenever i see Cha Hae-in i think of Ainz Wallenstein from DanMachi. Both girls are portrayed as strong & important to the anime (remember how Hae-in was introduced at the start of 1st episode). Ainz being the strongest in her family, while Hae-in 2nd/3rd strongest in her guild(?), but both don't play that much of a role in the end. Both girls are having that kinda monotonous tone when talking/thinking. Ainz Wallenstein was kinda dense aswell, dunno if that's the case with Cha Hae-in, but considering how monotonous/unsocial she is (seems like she devoted her life to the work), i guess she will be like that too. And both girls seem like the romantic interests to the MC.

I think since they can’t measure anything past A, the range of power in S class is far wider than the other classes. It could basically be a step past A or a mile…both would show up as immeasurable.

Yeah, as No Remorse said, he gains power really quickly in the manwha, as well. It was one of my gripes about it in the beginning because there wasn’t a whole lot of time for the S-rank to keep that mystique.

The manwha itself is fast. Compared to 1st season they are close to the same pace. Actually expected more out this episode based off of the previous episode's pacing. Nothing major has been skipped from manhwa.

1 A rank is a strong as 10 b rank and its the same with S rank. All A rank are not the same lvl as a top A rank could beat a low A Rank without trouble. S rank are way above A rank but there is level in S rank too so the gap can actually be bigger than with lower rank. More will be explain later.

And michelle is right about the S-rank classification, once your mana levels hit a certain point you are categorized as S-rank, but there are still differing mana levels after that point there’s no cap. It’ll be explained more later Also bummed about the line change from Il-Hwan Sung to Hwang Dongsoo. The new line doesn’t make sense
