2025-01-28 22:59:36 +0000 UTCI did read the manga i don’t know why you assumed i didn’t lol. Im currently at the latest blue vortex chapter too. The point is the anime and manga are not the same so i don’t even know why its in the conversation as Michelle and Ron wil watch the anime not read the manga. Boruto is definitely censored and the writer himself said that the anime was more aimed to a younger audience. It easy to say "a lot of people said this" because i can say that more people believe boruto before blue vortex was not that great compared to Boruto and its objectively true. Blue vortex is good now but it far from Naruto in term of character Development. If the saga would have started with Boruto people wouldn’t feel no real attachment to most side characters but their Development was carried by their parents. Anyways, i don’t hate Boruto and love reading the Manga and for the most part the anime but i can’t argue than quality with the Animation and story telling that its for me inferior to Naruto. It does it own thing and has it own feel but someone switching from Naruto to Boruto will definitely find a lot of thing wrong at first (in the anime) but if they love the franchise they will stick with it.

2025-01-28 22:10:45 +0000 UTCI can tell you haven't read the manga, and obviously there's nothing wrong with that but all I can really say is it's DEFINITELY not aimed at kids or anything like that lol. A lot of people argue that current Boruto is on a better run than any run in Naruto and whilst I disagree with that, it shows how much the story has improved. If you would've told me in the Mujina Bandits arc that Boruto would be getting that much praise I would've laughed at you but it's well worthy of that praise rn.

The quality of Boruto does not match thehype Ron and Michelle has toward it. It feel like a weird transition from Naruto and just became its own show when a different style and its okay but the majority of people would consider Boruto inferior to Naruto. For me its good, but not amazing and i don't try compare it to Naruto anymore im just letting it be its own thing which is what people should do.

All i have to say is don't get too hype about the show. The show was even censored down and make more toward kid than shippuden musically and story wise. Its a a whole new generation in the show and in real meaning they want to target a younger audiance possibly so yeah we can't compare Naruto to Boruto sadly even tho there is some nice thing from it.

It's understandable too & hapoens in major medias. It happened to DBZ, after Cell Caga, Goku fans pressured Toriyama to bring back Goku when he wanted to move onto Gohan as the MC. Why would I not want even a small resemblance of that bc even a small amount would be great based off how good Naruto was. But it’s just not unfortunately. I’ve tried and tried. To me it’s trash, just honest opinion. Of course people that like Boruto disagree. Animation not as good (which is crazy that it’s worse, just look at the designs and tell me they didn’t downgrade so many and definitely not as detailed), storytelling not as good, cast of characters not as good, not as emotional (good and bad), what they go through is not as relatable. It’s just not as interesting as its predecessor. It has flashes I’ll admit, but just overall, decent at very best. And yall Boruto fans know the show is divisive on Naruto fans saying they like it or not. Yall gassing them up so much. But good luck yall, thanks for the reactions! All the best. Believe it 👍

Peak started after around E-125 (Tobi/Madara). If anything, current Boruto explains & will explain many of the plot points/ holes from Naruto, especially those related to Otsutsukis, Divine Tree, Ten Tails, & possibly things like why only Hashi can use wood style, why uzumakis were wiped out, many other things. It also takes the power scaling to a whole another level (above Bleach).

And Non existent? Minato died on his son's birthday, Fugaku was killed by his own son, Sakumo offed himself cuz of trauma, Oro, Obito, Iruka, Nagato,Yahiko, Konan are orphans, etc, etc.

Their goals have been achieved, and they don't require further development. Might Guy does not care that he's in a wheelchair as implied in (479), and so, the only appropriate way (narratively) to use them is for fun and comedy.

It is a continuation of the story, however, it is a major tone shift from Naruto, especially at the beginning. It's got a much more "slice-of-life in a peaceful era" tone, as opposed to the more dark and serious "war era" tone of Naruto. And boruto is a kid, so you can't expect the big, planetary battles that we got in shippuden right off the bat. It's more of a light-hearted version of the original Naruto, in my opinion. Just go into with an open mind and without big expectations, and I think you guys will enjoy it. Think of it as a brand new story set in the Naruto world. I've been keeping up with the Manga, which is quite a bit ahead of the anime now, and it's really good so far.
