2025-02-01 07:51:29 +0000 UTCAlchemy is a science, so people learn new alchemy through observation and experimentation. because homunculous was smart, he was able to figure out what it takes to produce "immortality". the main ingredient being human souls for the exchange. Same where scientists figure out how to make planes fly or AI.

2025-02-01 07:34:49 +0000 UTCThe Dwarf in the Flask, is Father. He is not the king, as the king was sacrificed like everyone else. Father created a receptacle for himself based on the information in Hohenheim's blood. Additionally, Father created the Seven Deadly Sins, which means he also created Pride. Therefore, Pride is not the Dwarf in the Flask.

2025-01-31 21:20:44 +0000 UTCHe created Selim in his image. So they look similar

2025-01-31 04:36:23 +0000 UTCI can’t believe ya’ll got so lost on father and the rest of the homunculi. We saw father make greed so he made them all in similar ways. Maybe Ron forgot to take his Magic Mind 🤣

2025-01-31 02:36:27 +0000 UTCPride comes FROM Father. Father IS the Dwarf in The flask, (Coma) Homunculus. being that that's was what he was, created by the alchemist who trained Hoenheim. It helps to think of a Homunculus as it is defined . "An *artificial*, humanlike being that people thought to be created through alchemy" but sprinkle in a little anime twist on it mixed with some imagination from Hiromu Arakawa and boom. human-like Monsters born from blood spilled, named from humanity Sins, and magic rocks. Dwarf in the flask Is Father in Role , and name

2025-01-31 02:21:13 +0000 UTCFather is not Pride—he embodies all the sins. I can see why you’d make that connection, though. The dwarf does resemble a ball of shadow, much like how Selim is composed of darkness. There’s also a rumor that if you splice an egg with human DNA—combining blood and sperm—and successfully hatch it, a homunculus will emerge. A twisted being with hands, a face, lips, and a tongue. Believe it or not, alchemy of this kind was once practiced and played a role in shaping modern science.

2025-01-31 01:30:21 +0000 UTCPlain and simply, without extra details: The dwarf in the flask is not Pride. He is just the result of some alchemist’s experiment (conducted using the blood of Slave 23 aka Hoenheim). The dwarf in the flask did not turn into the King of Xerxes, that was just Hoenheim mistaking him for the king at first glance. I guess partly because he was wearing fancy robes. So, the dwarf in the flask used the king’s power to carry out the whole ritual, and instead made himself and Hoenheim immortals. And created a vessel for himself in the image of Hoenheim, from whom he was originally created.🤗

2025-01-31 01:13:16 +0000 UTCYea i think thats definitely the case. Bc i saw fmab almost 10 years ago as well and i remember almost everything through my rewatch with them here… she had to have watched fma and thought it was brotherhood
LelouchFam
2025-01-31 01:12:21 +0000 UTCYeah I'm honestly more surprised that she says she's seen the entire show to completion. It's strange she didn't remember Selim was pride, the connection between hoenheim and father, that Bradley is a homunculus, that ling becomes a homunculus, that general Armstrong exists, and she didnt even remember that Hughes dies lol. I think perhaps she saw the 2003 FMA anime and mistakenly thought she watched FMAB.

2025-01-31 01:09:01 +0000 UTCthe answer is NO to your question at the end. they are different

2025-01-31 01:08:01 +0000 UTCTerrible comparison?? It would make sense if you could tell in og naruto that rock lee would not be a contributor going forward. But since thats not the case its a horrid comparison and give off hella parasocial vibes… i gave them the context clues for why the topic is not something that is going to be touched upon again in the show. It was something to pick up while watching, they didnt so i provided what they missed. Simple as that. Weirdo
LelouchFam
2025-01-31 01:06:54 +0000 UTCSimple example is imagine telling Ron after he got the Rock Lee tattoo, that Rock will have no more significant contribution for the rest of the show. See how that works? Your example about Pride is ridiculously flawed. But I'm done here. No point talking to a rude ass
Damien Lee
2025-01-31 01:02:30 +0000 UTCHes a parasocial lol

2025-01-31 01:01:15 +0000 UTCwdym? these aren’t spoilers

2025-01-31 01:00:12 +0000 UTCOh you are one of those parasocials that think anything is spoiling. You cant spoil something that doesn’t exist, this is literally the episode that gives them the info and they didnt pick up on it. Thats not spoiling its just giving them the correct info lmfao. You also left them a comment aboves saying pride is not the dwarf in the flask… even though in a few episodes the show literally tells you hes not lmfao. By your own logic you also gave to much info and spoiled. See how this works? Its not spoiling if its something they were supposed to pick up on this episode. Go somewhere else with that weird shit
LelouchFam
2025-01-31 00:57:05 +0000 UTCTelling people what WILL NOT happen is also considered spoiling it. Because possibilities occupy viewers minds as we watched it being released, and those possibilities being taken away by someone who watched it before removes some elements of the show
Damien Lee
2025-01-31 00:52:13 +0000 UTCThe dwarf in the flask is Father, as shown in the events of Xerxes. The 7 sins come from Father. Pride is the first homunculus, meaning he was the first created from Father. I think you guys are getting your theories or memory jumbled up hahaha It's pretty straight forward, no need to think too deeply into it. This show is very gnostic in multiple aspects. So just take a lot of the information given to you by the show at face value aside from plot twists lol Also, this is a given fact from the show thus far. Every homunculus introduced have their own abilities unique to themselves. This includes Pride/Selim.

2025-01-31 00:42:30 +0000 UTCconsidering all of this is never gone over again in the show... HOW is it too much info? tf are you on about

2025-01-31 00:22:48 +0000 UTCSloth = The guy digs the tunnel Envy = The kid that can transform into another person Lust = The lady with the pointy fingers Greed = The one that possessed Ling Wrath = The Fuhrer Gluttony = The guy that eats things into another dimension Pride = ? Soooo..... You guys think the Father is Pride? Then who is Selim? lol
Damien Lee
2025-01-31 00:19:11 +0000 UTCPride is not Father, Father is the was in the Flask
Ginko 13
2025-01-31 00:15:08 +0000 UTCActually take that back Ron was onto it towards the end haha! theres no way Michelle has seen this show before... she definitely saw the og FMA not this one.
LelouchFam
2025-01-31 00:05:42 +0000 UTCSince I know it won't be answered at all in the anime, I can at least tell you this: Father's original flask-bound form was most likely inspired by real-life concepts of Homunculi. Supposedly, if an alchemist was successful in creating such a being, he was to keep it inside of a glass flask for a certain period of time, as it would die in its "infancy" stage outside of it.
botanbutton
2025-01-31 00:02:20 +0000 UTCThe dwarf in the flask is Father. From my understanding all the seven deadly sins Homunculus are small parts of the father and he created each homunculus while eradicating each of the sin from himself at the same time so that’s how he became the perfect being.
Anxair
2025-01-31 00:02:16 +0000 UTCI don't think that's even been revealed yet, fam. You might be spoiling. 😬
botanbutton
2025-01-30 23:57:29 +0000 UTCAlso after watching that episode, how do you guys still think that the dwarf in the flask is somehow SELIM (pride)??? It's clearly shown to be father once you see him get a body. Idk where the disconnect came from there 😭
LelouchFam
2025-01-30 23:56:18 +0000 UTCJust so you guys know there is no more information given on how father (dwarf in the flask) came to be. The reason father doesnt care how he speaks to the king of xerxes or the threats from the "master" about smashing his flask is because he was created completely on accident the alchemists have no clue how they created him. They are idles threats since they need his knowledge but have no clue how to recreate him. It was simply just an alchemist messing around with a slaves blood.
