Yes I’ve read the whole Manhwa. It has potential, a good story line that has lots of layers as you go, and if they keep the animation up and/or improve it, it has the potential to be an all time great. But, a layered story doesn’t always mean a better anime. DS has more endearing characters and more emotional impact in big moments because of it, and the anime is improving on that. SL didnt really have those same factors from start to finish. Still a very interesting plot and freaking cool all around tho.

I understand a lot when Ron talks about Jin Woo’s confidence because, honestly, something this series has made me feel since season 1 is how incredible one can become when they gain confidence, security, and put in a lot of effort. Because beyond the power that Jin Woo obtains, which allows him to become what he is today, he achieves it by training hard and doing everything necessary. The system benefits him a lot, but even so, his effort is just as significant. And although Naruto is my favorite anime and gave me a similar feeling of wanting to improve and push myself to the limit to reach my goals, I feel that Solo Leveling influences me even more. It gives me the motivation to improve faster, build that confidence in myself, and makes me want to start training. I don’t know if this makes sense, but watching it gives me a lot of motivation and adrenaline. Anyway, I loved your reaction as always—thanks for sharing! Now, let’s eagerly wait for the next episode (I read the manhwa, and exciting things are coming!).

As a manga reader, I do wish they took some more time in the anime to explain some things. Like it’s not super clear in this episode what Monarch’s Domain does, and they kind of skipped over him “arising” the 4 main warriors of Kargalgan. Idk, just feels like they’re rushing through things in this season which is leaving me a little disappointed at the pacing, but of course I love seeing it all come to life in animation.

Awesome! So glad you guys are starting bleach, has been one of my favorite anime from when I was reading it weekly. I love Naruto and One Piece as well, but for some reason, bleach always edged out the others just a tad for me. But they are called the big 3 for a reason, all of them are just top tier IMO :D

I think he is still human, tho but his powers may or may not be. I think being a player just put him in another category than the hunters because he can level. But in a way you can say he is losing his humanity as he grows stronger because some of his basic emotions are dissipating. Well his class is a Shadow Monarch/(Upgraded Necromancer). Still his core I think he is human, just not to monsters i guess..LOL

A few things to call out in case you missed - 1. Jinwoo's mages are double in magic power now with the orb of avarice. That is why they were able to break largalgan's shield. 2. Kargalgan in the end was killed by his own 4 commanders.

It is definitely Kargalgan. Jinwoo was level 60 when he fought Baruka, and level 81 when he fought Kargalgan. His stats are roughly 40-45 percent higher. Apart from that, he has learnt Monarch's domain, an Igris powered by Monarch's domain can stand toe to toe with baruka himself. Jinwoo himself also said that he has never seen "anyone" with as much aura as Kargalgan.
