2025-02-19 03:46:40 +0000 UTCYeah Ron, this lackluster ending was not on Kishimoto he made the manga but Studio Pierrot runs the anime. 479 was the last actual manga episode. 484 to 500 was actually from novels written by others and Kishimoto just gave his blessing to consider them novel canon. 479 adapted until chapter 699 but Studio Pierrot are greedy and stretched the anime 500 episodes and then did not even adapt chapter 700 until Boruto. They also rushed and made Boruto the show before the manga even started. Unfortunately, Kishimoto did not have creative control and Naruto made the studio too much money not to be greedy

I did love Shikamaru and Temari's love story, but aside from that I didn't feel the emotional ending that I wanted for this show. Also, this is 100% my OWN OPINION but I personally don't like Sasuke and Sakura as a couple, it just feels so shallow to me so seeing them try and put these two together in a way that doesn't quite feel right was a disappointment. That opinion has not changed no matter how many times I've watched this show. So, overall, the ending for this series didn't seem to do it justice.

He's involved himself more with this than The Last. Make of it what you will. It's just my personal opinion that the anime did injustice to a solid piece of work with cheap animation and bad pacing with the exception of the final fight.

For further context, although these last 20 episodes you watched, the Itachi story at the end of the war arc, and The Last movie are considered canon by many lists and people, in reality they are actually based on novels written by other authors, and therefore in my opinion, not canon. The ending of the manga was one more chapter after the events of episode 479 with a flash forward of Naruto as a Hokage and the next generation introduced. In my opinion that ending is better and more fulfilling. All in all, it was great following your Naruto journey. Even though I love Bleach, I might peace out of your channel for a little bit because of my busy schedule, but I would love to come back once school is finally over. Have a blessed day Ron, Michelle and everyone else! Hope you enjoy Bleach as much as I do :) . BANKAI!!!

2025-02-14 19:28:14 +0000 UTCThe ending was not good at all, too much focus on comedic scenarios felt like fillers, missed opportunities for meaningful conversations or farewells between characters as Ron said, Sasuke not attending the wedding, no final goodbye to Jiraya and Neji two pivotal characters who greatly impacted Naruto and Hinata, Naruto becoming Hokage was his lifelong dream, but there was no direct acknowledgment or scene showing his thoughts or emotions about finally achieving it. The outcome could have been more satisfying, there was definitely room for a much better ending.

Also, Tsumade is over 20 years older than kakashi, in her 50-60s while kakashi is in his 30s right here...and there was more at the ending as well.

As for the ending, I felt the same as you, as did my brothers with whom I watched it, and as for me, the ending could have been much better, but now watching it with you for the second time, after years, I admit that I like the fact that they haven't shown Naruto for a few/dozen episodes, such is life, a person commits themselves to something, someone,without having time for friends, that's how I perceived it now, they have to make a choice and when Naruto finally appeared, it was like such a long-awaited moment, of ease, like at a wedding, when all the pressure is gone from a person and they can finally be themselves, you can have fun with your friends in peace haha. Besides, I don't know if anyone wrote this before( I just read Cassian's comment, describing it exactly), but manga naruto chapter 699 ends with the event when sasuke leaves the village, this event took place in naruto shippuden episode 479, the next chapter of the manga 700, the last one, takes place already in the boruto universe, so to answer the question, yes, when we watched the last episode of naruto shippuden, we knew that there would be boruto, which could also be seen after the end credits:)

(It was literally the final scene of the manga + an extra Bonus Chapter of Boruto, just to promote it, which you never saw). The only exception is the The Last Movie. He was full involved in that. Other than that it was all the Anime Studios Doing. You both were smart enough to pick up that "it felt different" and this is why. PS: Oh I forgot! The Kakashi face revalation was also from Kishimoto. Another exception but this is it! The Sasuke + Shikimaru "Arc" was novels written by other autors and it was just implamanted in the Anime by the Animation Studio.

It did give more emotional scenes than the manga, since the wedding and everything leading up to it wasn’t included. I also feel like a remember a scene where it was a montage of the wedding, but that might have been at the end of the last movie. Regardless I think the ending was great and the scene of Naruto asking iruka to attend the wedding as his father will get me every time.

I think a ton of people who watched this as one long take a lot people wanted this drawn out recap of everything that’s happened and for it to be emotional but I think the point of it was to show that Naruto is moving forward. Some of the manga is different and never got animated. Not sure if kishimoto had any input in the ending though but all in all it could’ve been a lot worse lol

2025-02-13 04:04:50 +0000 UTCHere's the thing, guys, the reason why Naruto Shippuden finished that way, is because the end in the manga is when Sasuke leaves the village, it's the oficial ending of the story, then in the same manga, there is like an epilogue that is actually used as the beginning in Boruto, so that's why it feels that way. And also, I recommend you to not watch Boruto The Movie, just because, what happens there it's actually part of the anime and it is for sure way more better in the anime than in the movie. I am actually really exited for your reaction to Boruto, I hope you enjoy that journey as well

The ones writing Boruto are the ones that helped make the Boruto Movie. The Movie became the highest grossing Naruto movie in which greenlighting the sequel to Naruto. Kishimoto wanted to create a new manga without being a mangaka he only wanted to be an author. So, he gave the reigns to his assistant to draw Boruto because he's been with him drawing Naruto from chapter 1. Kishimoto would still supervise Boruto every month. People found the first 10 chapters of Boruto was movie recap and for a monthly manga that kills people's attention. After Kishimoto solo manga kind of failed he went back to boruto as full on supervisor. Ikemoto (boruto artist) sees Kishimoto manuscripts for the chapters, but he also has the power to change what he wants. So, the manga following Kishimoto's draft print of the story from beginning to end is being changed into what both author and artist agree on. Ther is many more things to say but this is the gist. Also the naruto anime eneded in 2017 with then going straight into boruto anime.

I remember RTTV ended Shippuden on Valentine's day on youtube. But Naruto will always have a special place in my heart, grew up watching it and everything. The very last episode was masterful from the very first ost that plays, the flashback to episode 1, everyone's congratulatory messages and ofc the wedding. Unfortunately the only thing is that the anime studio for OG BLEACH is unfaithful to the manga and didn't capture the full essence of Bleach that the author wrote and it has pacing issues, but the NEW Bleach anime goes above and beyond the manga it’s PEAK every episode. SO I and many other prefer you just read the manga until the newest arc or wait for a potential remake. But im still very excited for your journey regardless

They create this whole wedding thing that is not a chapter of the manga at all, but okay is cool and fun... But the last chapter, the chapter 700 they didnt make it in the anime, I understand the whole Boruto thing, and this chapter is basicaly a introduction to Boruto... But DAMN the whole NARUTO show we heard this mf yapping about become a Hokage, and we didnt see it in the Anime... Fortunately I read the manga, and chapter 700 jumps 13 years in the future and we see him as Hokage, so was not frustrating for me watching the adaptation, but those who just watch the anime I imagine it was.

That's the way I did it at least, def no regrets. (also, I think starting the series is a better first experience and jus makes more sense in general) Tbh on my first watch the ending was completely fine but I see yall criticism and it's valid. Iruka and Naruto was 100% a great moment tho! Here since the start - been an amazing journey <3

I was also disappointed but now I think they wanted to show that the real guests were us, the wedding wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for us. We were the whole show. Kishimoto obviously could’ve written a better ending and we all know that but the point is you guys were everything and he didn’t want to subtract from that. Plus they didn’t want you to cry maybe. And the show hasn’t ended technically, you see Naruto still in boruto so this isn’t really the end.

I happen to be on the side that this is not included in the 1 to 72 tomes of the manga, so you can disregard it (kinda of). That's what I tried to warn them about for the last few episodes. As really the last cannon scene of the animated show is Naruto giving the headband back to Sasuke. Naruto as it is in the manga literally ends like this followed by a few pages of a chapter in the future. Nothing like this kind of stuff. And, well, guess how they ended up feeling about these episodes… It's such a disaster that their last moments with the show got ruined because the site they use to check filler lists this as cannon, because they kinda ended up expecting more out of this stretch of episodes. I remember, the moment I saw Michelle checking if the Sasuke story was or wasn't cannon and figured thanks to that dumb site that it was "cannon" they were going to have an underwhelming ride with these. Ofc everything out of them isn't to throw away but ofc it wasn't on point as much as the real thing.

Monday and Wednesday every week has been Naruto day for over a year for me and I've loved it every single time. I really do appreciate that. The chemistry you have is unmatched too, everything from Michelle's massive brain predicting everything that ever happened ever (because she pre read lol) to Ron's dumbass intros, the whole thing just brightens up my day and I can't thank you enough for it all. They were loosely adapted from the novels that kishimoto’s assistant worked on with kishimoto as the supervisor, after the manga had already ended. Not to mention the anime added in a lot of filler into these episodes. The True manga ending was 479 which was manga chapter 699, and then chapter 700 which was the final chapter was pretty much 13 years in the future showing Naruto and sasuke grown up, boruto ect, and the anime never adapted this chapter. So the reason you guys might be disappointed is cause these last episodes weren’t created by kishimoto at all, and the studio didint bother to make it interesting
