Guys, you should let the episode breathe out, and trust me One Piece anime explains everything in detail and in depth during whatever happens, it actually agonizing watching entire episode that its purpose to show off a power and explain it. Its a show usually for younger audience it doesn't let the audience think much. The only thinking happens is when a piece of info is given in one entire episode that connects to other pieces in other episodes.

Ron you understood the "Devil Fruit power holder's Physical Body" thing pretty well. A lot of reactors miss that line or just don't get it at all. I really appreciate that you guys are pausing and going back to read things! Simply put, Ace can turn into fire and let stuff pass through him, but he still has a physical body. It's kinda like his fire makes it possible to hide his physical body. Blackbeard's power enables him to hit Ace's physical body AND prevent him from doing any fire stuff if Blackbeard can touch him. This applies to all Devil Fruit users. If Blackbeard touches Luffy, Luffy will get hit as tho he isn't made of rubber. He'll get hit as a regular person would. Where this episode leads will change your lives 🔥🔥💯💯

There's differences between the sea/Kairoseki(seastone) and Blackbeard's powers. The sea does weaken Devil Fruit users and restricts their powers, but they still retain them. For instance, when Luffy was underwater his body was still able to stretch because he's always rubber and doesn't need to activate his powers so to speak. Whereas the Darkness Fruit completely nullifies powers, like when Blackbeard is grabbing you it's like you don't have powers at all, yet his touch won't weaken the users physically like the sea or Kairoseki do.

That scar has been seen on shanks since we’ve seen him episode 1 with kid luffy! Post Enies Lobby actual Peak Piece. Not to mention the entire stretch of episodes since episode 309(excluding filler of course) was one of my favorites. The emotional moments, the reveals, the lore, foreshadowing and build up, shit was too good. And no better way to end this arc and Water 7 Saga for good than with the clash between sun and darkness.
