If he accepts the zone, the Japanese/Black Knights will lose their reason to fight as they got Japan liberated, thus Lelouch loses his firepower to take down the royal family. But if Lelouch rejects, he basically betrays Japan and they will think "wtf do you wanna keep us enslaved?". No matter what Lelouche chooses, he loses his edge to take down the royal family

It should be "How unfortunate. I only know it as a general concept." Not "Well I get the general idea anyway" Like what? 17:04 "This is no time to be hitting on some flirty girl" What??? The literal translation is just "This is no time to be hitting on girls!" At least 2 other parts this episode with mistranslations in subtitles, like it's not completely wrong but it's weirdly translated. Please go back to what was being used in prior episodes.

Also because of the declaration, Zero motive for the rebellion will be seen unjustified by the public. Diethard already claimed he wants to witness Zer0 make history by fighting Brittania and becoming independent thats why he was upset. basically making zero or lelouch stand down. Hope that clears things up i love this show lmao
