I think it's good to know this now: Nina has been glued to her computer, working on an important project since the very beginning of the show. Even Lloyd (Lancelot-Science-Guy) took an interest in what she was working on during one of the earlier episodes. Keep this in mind for next episode.

2025-03-03 16:37:25 +0000 UTCThe Geass didn't get stronger, Lelouch used it on the people before the mission and commanded basically "when I give the warning, you will do this". So when he said "you have until midnight to surrender", the geass placed on them earlier activated. Also, the guy being experimented on is Jeremiah, also known as Orange. He got fucked up so bad they had to make him basically half-cyborg experiment to keep him alive, but he flips out when he hears Zero because Zero at the beginning of the season Geassed him to hand over Suzaku and publicly called him "Orange", so people thought he was a traitor with some secret codename Orange even though it was something Lelouch came up with on the fly. Basically he lost his reputation due to Zero and flips out becausae of that. Also, rooting for Cornelia I understand from the perspective that she is a cool character and wants to avenge the death of Euphy, but then again Cornelia is a hardcore racist who controls Area 11 and opposed Euphy wanting Suzaku as her knight and wanting to liberate Japan

While just living life as a student he was able to move around the Britannian settlement without people asking questions. Before the battle, maybe months or weeks before it, he Geassed some of the workers in each zone to "purge" the system when they hear the words "surrender at midnight". So during the battle, when he made the announcement to Cornelia, his true intention was to activate the people he had already Geassed. Kinda like sleeper agents! Hope this helps, excited for the last episode of season 1!!
