Well... hell. Still, we've seen time and again that one shouldn't believe a person is truly dead until we see a body and maybe them as a walker or a knife through the head. I'm still holding out hope he faked dying. Also, damn Carol is really pissing me off this season. She didn't even ask Lydia, just showed her to Gamma. It appears she was going to show Lydia to that Whisperer that was in the jail cell, and didn't even ask her then, even though she gave a big thing about letting it be Lydia's choice.
