I could understand if you guys feel that this arc is pretty random. I thought so too because the whole thing just felt like a freaking Scooby Doo episode. But it's pretty funny. @Ron I know you're still expecting that extra push from One Piece even now when you guys are almost 350 episodes into the story, I can tell you're still waiting for that spark, that one thing that tells you, "this is it". So I'll let you in on a little heads up, the next arc after this one gets a little bit more serious in regards to the MAIN plot, no useless side quests, nothing but pain and pure lore. So you guys can expect some really awesome episodes after this arc !

Yep they should switch to One Pace for the rest of the show, it makes it so much more enjoyable and gives us more progression with the story. No need for repeating clips over and people heavy breathing for 15 seconds between every attack staring into oblivion

For me, the arc after Thriller Bark is when it starts to peak. Peak arc would be 2 or 3 arcs after that. (not gonna name the arc so there won't be any spoilers) The Fishman Island arc (mentioned in Water7) for me is boring. Probably next to Skypea.

Robin not using her powers here to stop the coffin with Luffy in it is 100% plot. Her powers could resolve many situations too easily, so Oda had to nerf her hard. That's the problem with giving characters abilities that are op.
