She's just Sakura 2.0. Hell, even Sakura upgraded. Orihime remained the same level until the Yhwach arc. And THIRD, the SAME anime trope for romance is used in literally 80% of ALL shōnen anime. Doesn't have to be shōjo to predict that shit. By your "sister" logic, Tatsuki should have been closer to Ichigo seeing as she knew him since they were 4 years old and STILL Rukia learned more about this man in a single month than Tatsuki did in 11 years, damn. Y'all acting like the studio didn't fucking fumble.

And now he feels a close enough connection with her to refer to her that way. It's something that gets lost in translation. Because he could just use "Rukia" like Ichigo does, and that would show that he feels friendly enough to just call her by first name, but having him call her Nē-san is a deliberate choice to show just how comfortable he feels with her

The subtitles just translate it as "Rukia", but when Kon is yelling for Rukia, he's not yelling her name, even though that's what the subtitle says. He's yelling "Nē-san" which means "older sister". He's already referring to Rukia as big sister.

"Ichi" is the Japanese word for the number 1 (for example, the one tail beast in Naruto is the Ichibi). However, "Ichigo" is also the word that means strawberry! My friend had a baby girl with red hair when we lived in Japan and old Japanese ladies would always dote over her and call her little Ichigo ☺️

Director Abe added so much filler scenes even between original manga panels that even Kubo had to intervene. Ship them at your own risk because that's not endgame.

Some animes shade hair inconsistently on purpose because for example in reality sometimes the orange can look a little brownish depending on the lighting and environment etc. TLDR: Mother - orange/brown, Dad - Black, Kids - orange, black, brown.

Ichigo has enough spiritual pressure to see them but his sister karin can only sense them yuzu can do neither. It a natural phenomenon…mostly….
