sorry I'm spamming comments but there are so many cool details in this episode. The ant king comes back and now his voice has changed. He speaks in Goto's voice xD The ant king's evolution was to transform into the form most suitable for speed since that's his strongest trait. they explicitly say that in the manhwa though in the anime they tried to just imply it mildly hehe. when his eye was about to get hit, Jinwoo managed to upgrate fatal strike to max level skill mutilation which turned out to be top tier xD Jinwoo got 6 elixers of life. now he has 4. it didn't work on Cha because it was pure brute physical damage not magic related :(

The Black Ant gained ice and healing abilities after consuming the S-rank hunters(Ice from the Jap hunter and Healing from ByungGu), using their skills as his own. Mods really need to monitor the comments more carefully to prevent spoilers. As for Goto, the sword breaking in half in the previous episode was intended to suggest that he was killed instantly. However, in this episode, they then showed his head dropping to make it clear that he was indeed killed on the spot. I think the animation team tried to keep viewers in suspense of Goto's death. In the manga, it showed that Goto died right there and then. The animation team did the fight scenes justice along with the ost. I'm not surprised Brandon got hooked on SL since it's mostly fighting action scenes.

I genuinely felt sorry for ...The Ant...this episode. He is probably my favorite character so far and he just hatched. Hes a very good villain and not just a generic flat character. He wants to be the strongest and off rip, you see thats his goal. He doesnt waste time torturing his prey or killing unnecessarily. He goes for the strongest and decapitates them mercilessly. Very purpose driven, very efficient. In this fight he gave his all, realized he was outclassed and we clearly see when he switched into survival mode. That is a very good trait for a good villain to have. He died, and I suspect Jinwoo is gonna summon him, if he can that is. If that happens, I look forward to every time he appears on screen

I’m the anime, last episode when his sword broke it wasn’t EXACTLY clear that he died, because like with the ice user hunter, the ice broke and that was to signify his death, but the manhwa they don’t leave anything up to interpretation, you clearly see them die instantly and that’s it, no maybe and then going back later, so I can understand people wanting to clarify in the comments, but that’s why they need to wait because the anime isn’t a 1-1 of the manhwa. Also it’s a spoiler talking about the American but Ron doesn’t care about minor spoilers it seems. When I watched the episode this morning first i thought he would get on the dragon with Cha and fly out. But while watching the reaction another thought came to mind. He might use arise on the ant and make him fly her to a hospital or something because the ant can fly much faster than the dragon. Hopefully will see on the next episode. My first theory was Jin Woo is going to carry Cha and run across the sea using his speed but that felt too silly lol.

USA and china both have a loooot of people, so a lot more chances of a crazy strong person popping out. As some others have said, the ant king gains the abilities of those he eats so his regen was from Byung-Gu (the S-rank Korean Healer) and the ice was from one of the Japanese S-ranks we saw die last episode.

The animators went so hard for this fight, just bummed they cut out some of the hype moments and dialogue from the manhwa. For example, Jinwoo’s entrance was a lot cooler and when he starts protecting the Korean S-ranks, hunter Baek tells hunter Ma “looks like we’re in good hands.. everything’s going to be okay now” and then we see Jinwoo go off. Happy they kept the news station man’s line tho They also cut out the part explaining the ant gains the powers of those he eats (the ice, etc)
