As someone who didn't read the manga I think Akame Ga Kill is a good show with a definitive ending and I really enjoyed it.

2019-12-25 06:01:22 +0000 UTCCharacters that die in the anime survive in the manga and vice versa. The manga of Akame ga kill is much much more gruesome. The ministers son plays a much bigger role as a major villain and leads a group called wild hunt. Wild hunt was responsible for some stuff that makes everything that happened in this anime look like a cute kids show. Like dead set if the anime is enough to get you sad you aren't ready. But.... If you are ever curious look them up.

2019-12-24 06:13:35 +0000 UTCJust a heads up that starting around episode 19 is when the anime diverges from the manga but still keeps many of the points that the anime made in the manga as well. The biggest differences is that some of the main night raid members actually live and some of the jaegars actually live/die in the manga. I won't say who since you guys might read the manga possibly or anyone who hasn't could read it if they wanted to. Now is the story better in manga then anime? For this particular story I would say either one is about equal in storytelling. You might like it more in manga because certain things play out differently and the ending will change slightly but the overall resolution for the finale in both stories is the same.
