I will possibly ask yall again when we reach then. But I dont think its worth possible spoilers for the show and story.
So dont worry yall. I will be collecting boxes and packs though haha just will hold on to them.

2025-03-27 03:44:41 +0000 UTCIf you’re trying to get into playing some sort of TCG you should consider magic the gathering. The new sets that are about to come out in April are very hyped up. Pokémon is good for collecting, but MTG is usually considered the goat card game. The mode ‘commander’ is fun and all u need to get into it is one of the pre-constructed decks with maybe a couple upgrades.

It pays ur bills and ur objective is to get more subs on the channel. Some of us (probably majority) are here because of ur One Piece vids and if you guys are willing to spoiled urselfs for merch/trading cards etc. it will weaken and lose the the trust of some of ur subs. If you’re chasing a certain character or rarity, peruse around the different sets but buying that card individually is usually cheapest. (Excluding the top chases) If you want to build a deck, buy a starter deck for a character you like and see which sets complement that deck. each set will have cards that can compliment every starter deck but some sets buff certain ones. If none of those apply emperors of the sea has a lot of possible wanted poster and other higher rarity chances.

They're not dumb, the further they get into the story the more likely it is that they will connect the dots between current events and the future events depicted on the cards. And that will absolutely affect their reactions going forward. Using the example Rubz gave, let's say they pulled that specific card right now. Over the next few arcs they may slowly infer the proper context of that card long before they actually reach that moment just based on how the story unfolds. There's a reason we ask them to not even read episode titles or watch openings. Why would we be suddenly lenient when it comes to the TCG?

2025-03-26 19:45:18 +0000 UTCAs a collector and player myself I can tell you that people who don't want you to open the packs don't play or haven't even purchased any one piece TCG, the game right now and card values are thru the roof and there is no telling what 2.5 to 3 years until you make it to 700 can change in terms of the format of the game and card value! Im currently playing a Rob Lucci deck and its so fun! My only issue with one piece compared to other TCG like Pokemon is that cards in one piece sell high because of hype but afterwards they loose value unlike Pokemon where time doesn't diminish the value. And when it comes to spoilers besides transformations your not going to get spoiled if anything will highten the episode because of it. But I understand Ron but 2 years is a long time and One piece is not ending any time soon!

To be honest the show introduces too many key characters throughout the entire series that it makes it impossible to open the packs without character reveals. I know Ep. 700 is just a random number, but even at that point there is legit 10-15+ key characters that have yet to be introduced that change the entire story. And also the best moments in the show are inscribed on some of the cards lol

Like Robins “I want to live” has a card. You’ve already watched that but if you hadn’t you might’ve been spoiled from the cards. And there’s a lot more moments that would be spoiled from cards.
