This was the first anime I watched with my wife (gf at the time). Absolutely loved the show and many tears were shed. This final battle/arc is done sooooo well.

Also loved Izumi/her husband and the Armstrongs interaction they make a great team. The soldiers calling Olivier "sir" is used to address superiors, regardless of gender. It's a military thing
