I think the only potential spoilers would be certain characters appearing in the upcoming episodes. However, most of them show up before Episode 26. It’s really up to them, though, since they’ve watched Naruto OP/ED all together on Twitch streams to record for their YT videos and may consider doing the same for Bleach OP/ED.

The line between knife and sword in Western language is actually pretty blurry as well. Look up grossmesser. It literally means "big knife" but it's a full length "sword" with a cross guard.

Bro, an episode around 400 or so didn't show a single bit of new content until the 11 minute mark, then it went into a fight that showed everyone reacting to a single fall for about a minute and a half. In another episode I watched it flash back and forth repeatedly between characters for a fall that took 30 seconds instead of a single instant. The pacing problem isn't due to filler (added details and content), it's due to fluff (stretching out every single action with random depictions of reactions, repeated frames, and massive recaps that mix into the new content of an episode).

He said that DB showed him that all villains must be "strong, scary and cool." That's hardly a major influence. The biggest influence Toriyama had on bleach was on a personal level with Kubo when he wrote him words of encouragement, nothing to do with story or style.

Imo its not the animation, if you compare it to early naruto or op the animation is actually the best out of those 3 but they just changed to much from the manga and it suffers the same as OP/Naruto from pacing issues, hope one day we get an actual good manga adaption and I think the chance is pretty high considering OP remake is coming soon and if that hits like a bomb (which it will) then they could see the potential in remaking the whole og anime.

Btw just to let you know, the old bleach anime is imo the worst adaption from the manga in the big three, the manga is waaay more brutal and theres way more mature stuff that they cut out in the anime, I'm not saying that its bad but it sadly couldve been sooo much better. Kubo, the Author also often critiziced the og anime for changing thins and actually refusing to do what he actually wanted. The new bleach is waaaay better overall and thats because Kubo is overseeing everything and working together with the anime studio on the anime. I really hope one day bleach will get a remake thats actually faithfull to the manga. Still great reaction tho ^^

See for me personally pacing has never been an issue for me cuz I’m personally never gonna complain about a story giving me more details and content. If the story is good which OP is than I’m ok with bad pacing. It becomes an issue when it’s like Naruto’s filler which a lot of is just pure dog water.

Bleach animation got better over time but the animation for a majority of bleach was just horrible imo. I think they could have done much better with the hollows and just overall fight scenes. I can live with Naruto and One piece animation cuz they have well choreographed fights where as I don’t think bleach fights r choreographed that well so it makes its poor animation stand out more to me.

Lots of incredible things are never as seriously successful as the popular options. Personally I think all 3 big three are flawed in their executions in one way or another. Naruto and one piece to me have always had better anime but bleach has always been my favorite manga/story of the 3. Just the concept of soul reapers and hollows is so much more intriguing that Naruto and one piece story likes to me.
