Imo, Slime got ruined for me in that season, to the point i dropped it totally (i already wasn't the biggest fan of S2, and S3 was even worse, the first Arc was meh, and the 2nd Arc was even more of a sleeper).

2025-04-12 22:47:08 +0000 UTCI agree with the end discussion. The fun of Dr.Stone is the science but it gets very tiring when there's no plot. It quickly starts to become a Japanese magic school bus. But the plot and conflict forcing them to create certain things or stopping their progress is what makes it so compelling.

Personally, I enjoy Slime because it mixes in some Slice of Life elements. Dr. Stone, on the other hand, strikes a better balance between world-building and action, which appeals more to those who are into fights and fast-paced action scenes.
