2020-01-12 18:33:26 +0000 UTCWould you believe that Meliodas vs Escanor was regarded as one of the greatest shonen battles of all time when the manga was doing it? If you are an anime only watcher you probably wouldnβt because this series is getting done so dirty this season by having Deen animate it. Deen is not a bad studio but they are a horrible fit for 7 Deadly. Nothing is emotionally hitting because you are distracted by how off model Ban looks or demon Meliodas who is supposed to look very intimidating and sinister looks goofy instead. Its frustrating as a fan to watch this side by side with My Hero and see how much love My hero gets with its animation in comparison. If you didnβt know any better you would think My Hero was just the definitively better series but thatβs not true in the slightest. One has an anime that is being handled with care the other isnβt and itβs a shame. We really needed the guys who did season 1 to handle this the whole way through.
