as a current caught up op fan I remember when I was new to op and how although it had its funny hype moments thriller bark pacing was so bad so I dont fully blame them but you also got to understand they're pretty new even if they're 300 episodes in there's so much more stuff they dont know about give it time they'll go crazy

2025-04-25 15:58:58 +0000 UTCI mean if u watched the show until now you see that the things that are happening are often coming back and be relevant later no arc or villain isnt there without purpose. But ye the anime is really starting to stretch in many scenes you have to understand that they adapt maybe 15/20 manga pages per episode (if we are generous) and you read those in like 5 mins and they stretch it over 20 minutes, thats sadly how it is with the óld weekly shows

2025-04-24 23:39:30 +0000 UTCThe reason why Moria could not control the shadows was because he absorbed too many. They mentioned that he got too cocky and consumed more than he actually could handle. Not even he could actually keep control over 1000 shadows. The moment he sucked them out of the hosts they would return to their original owner the moment he lost them. As Luffy forced them out of Moria and moria lost consciousness they ended up to returning to their rightfull host. hopefully this clears it up
