2025-04-30 23:14:31 +0000 UTCThe big difference Michelle is that writers like J.K Rowling have years to write their story now Mangakas like Oda,Kishimoto,Kubo etc... they have to deliver a chapther every week,now imagine One Piece that's been going on for 27 years and Oda still manager to make the story excited for the reader,27 years and the story just keep getting better,idk how many writers could do that

We still don't know what part he's gonna play in the world and you better believe he's got a big role play in the end. Oda thought of shanks abilities from the beginning and he showcased it too you just don't know it yet. No offense but jk rollings ain't nothing in front of oda.

I will say though Ron you are right, people call Oda a genius writer because of all the chapters/episodes released and in hindsight, this 103 mercies and where youve gotten to in one piece is just a scratch on the surface

2025-04-25 06:21:30 +0000 UTCThe movies are just a condensed version of the arcs. Also 103 mercies dragon damnation was a oneshot released in 1994 and was the base for Zoro’s character design. So that’s why they look alike. Zoro is based on Ryuma and that’s why Oda gave him an homage and brought him in as a zombie in Thriller Bark. Oda has been changing the story as it goes because people keep predicting his story telling so he makes it dynamic and flexible. Keeps you guessing.
