This left Boruto feeling neglected and blaming the role of Hokage itself, believing that being Hokage is terrible. For Boruto, it seemed that even in times of peace, Naruto would still be too busy to come home. From Boruto’s point of view, his resentment stems from a very human need for his father’s presence and attention. As a child, he struggles to grasp the weight of Naruto’s responsibilities as Hokage and views his father’s absence as a personal choice rather than a duty to the village. Without giving away too much, rest assured that their relationship as father and son evolves beautifully over time.
