If he’s already using multiple clones to manage his Hokage duties across the village, adding one more even for his family could amplify his exhaustion AND a shadow clone is not the real Naruto. While it retains his memories and personality, it lacks the authenticity of a true interaction. Boruto and Himawari might still feel neglected if they sense the clone is a placeholder rather than their actual father. And let’s not forget, Naruto still needs to sleep. Even though he’s the strongest ninja in history, he’s still human, and like anyone else, he gets tired. His immense chakra reserves and stamina don’t make him immune to exhaustion, especially when he’s constantly juggling overwhelming responsibilities. Also if you watch the show, Naruto eventually comes to the realization that he can and should be more present for his family. He learns to take at least one day off to spend time with them, allowing Shikamaru to handle tasks that don’t require his direct involvement. Naruto begins to understand the importance of sharing the burdens and responsibilities of his Hokage duties, creating a better balance between his role as a leader and as a father.

You are forgetting that the clones will gather fatigue and that fatigue transfers back to the original. This is why when Naruto comes home, he is exhausted. He shouldn't have hella clones doing multiple tasks all day every day, but he does so anyway. He ends up exhausting himself completely as we've seen when he uses clones to accelerate his training in Shippuden. There's a particular event from the Boruto movie you should remember that shows this clearly. Also, Naruto sees the entire village as his family. As far as he's concerned, Hinata, Boruto, and Hima do not need his presence at home throughout the day. Think of the way Lord Third operated and how that affected his relationship with Asuma.

Hey first time watching boruto, i never gave it a chance after naruto. But ill give it a chance with you guys. for now its giving me nastalgia but i do have some issues, especially with the way technology is implemented! just feels like it could potentially be used as a "cop out" for certain situations in the future and how my man knew how to run windows 98 and not know what chakara was is kinda wierd but my second gripe id say is the character designs in my opinion feel very early 2000s and its kind of throwing me off idk ill keep watching, but its good so far!

Fun fact Boruto used the same move on Iwabe as Sasuke did against Kakashi during the bell test in OG Naruto. It was at the point where Boruto first did that left kick and Iwabe blocked it.
