Sorry bro. 10 billion push-up like right now. Michelle, rub your belly in a circular motion while patting your head and sing a Lilian Weinberg song.

2025-05-19 22:17:01 +0000 UTCI get what Ron is saying, it’s also my first time watching Dr Stone and I feel the same way Ron does plus we have the same tastes (flashy fights/action) but I understand Dr Stone is different. I loved the beginning of S1 then I felt like the story wasn’t really progressing. Loved the part when Senku’s dad came into the story. Since season 2 began, I feel like things are really picking up now. I’m already liking it more. Seems it will have more action and Ron may be more excited about the show, we got two more seasons to go. Also I really like Ukyo, white haired guy. Seems like a good guy

2025-05-18 18:00:18 +0000 UTCjust to clarify dr stone is in fact a shonen however there are also different categories under shonen. the shonen you are talking about are more battle shonen where they resolve everything through fighting whereas dr stone is more about building and trying to resolve conflicts peacefully

2025-05-18 11:18:47 +0000 UTCIt is Shounen though xD. I mean true, Dr. Stone IS a show about science so the actions are more concentrated on building because they try to solve the problem before it gets into a fight. And it takes a bit of time, which is how science work. But as you get more into their main objective (who did this all?) the story will get more complex and the fights/actions will also pick up. Especially season 4 was truely exciting and they also had many actions. So don't loose interest yet, you are not even close to unveiling the truth. lol. And small reminder to watch the "Special Episode Ryusui" after season 2, before starting season 3. It's a very important (canon) episode in between and will introduce a new character, which will be already a part of the group starting S3.

2025-05-18 10:23:03 +0000 UTCI get Ron. Some shows got a lot of dragging about especially Slime S3 is a disappointment. Dr Stone is slowing picking up now, as expected cause they did start out from nothing

He might enjoy a different genre if it can hold his attention with a compelling story or offers something fresh and unfamiliar.
