Boruto - Episode 7
Added 2025-05-20 01:11:32 +0000 UTCComments
Try to ignore the comments calling everything you watch "filler" or saying not to theorize. The show is actually only about 20% filler, and if that is how you enjoy watching do so. Many of these people just want to spoil the fun. Some Naruto fans criticize every arc simply because they only want what they consider to be manga-canon episodes. The Boruto anime was written and designed to provide additional context alongside the manga, which releases just one chapter per month. Many of these negative comments completely ignore that fact. Skipping episodes will leave you confused about the backstories of important characters, especially since some of their development is shown only in the anime. This current arc, for example, is significant for multiple characters but isn’t covered in the manga. Please don’t let those comments ruin your enjoyment.

2025-05-21 22:22:20 +0000 UTCThey’ll get the point after the series just like all of you. Let them finish and look retrospectively. They don’t need no one to guide their thoughts. If they’re wrong let em be, if they’re right let em be. They’ll finish and be able to determine their feelings on the show the way they would prefer. Boruto is the goat. My everything. In my top 4 all time shows. Is it because of manga and canon content? Yes. I know my feelings won’t change even if they drop the series (although not seeing a few fights and plot points would be blasphemy) and neither should yall.

2025-05-21 13:27:43 +0000 UTCI think it’s more about us already watching it and knowing what the show is and coming from the same expectation as y’all and being let down. Im alright with Boruto but definitely trash in my opinion I just respect what came before so madly so I watch it

2025-05-20 23:17:21 +0000 UTCYou don't have to stop predicting, just do not expect to see past characters immediately and frequently because they only show up where it makes sense. Its good that yall are watching anime canon because you have the opportunity to see them more because the manga canon only have a select few of the past characters that gets highlighted.

2025-05-20 17:05:19 +0000 UTCJust commenting since people seem confused - kishimoto (author of naruto) wrote the plot points for ALL of boruto before handing it to his assistant to actually draw - this only lasted a for about ~50 chapters - then kishimoto stepped back in and is currently the main author again for boruto, this has been the case since about vol 12.

2025-05-20 12:50:45 +0000 UTC⚠️⚠️ SUPER IMPORTANT ⚠️⚠️ make sure they read this. The intro is just WRONG.. COMPLETELY WRONG. Boruto IS THE sequel to Naruto. To be clear: it’s not a continuation of Naruto’s personal story, but it is a continuation of the same world, the same timeline... just around 12 years later. The main character now is Naruto’s son, and most of the side characters are the kids of the old ones. But it’s still the same story, same universe... we’re just seeing it from a new point of view. Everything in Boruto connects back to Naruto. Even the ending of Shippuden was changed to leave things open... they literally did that to make the transition into Boruto smoother. Saying Boruto is a completely separate story is like watching a flashback of Madara and Hashirama and saying "this has nothing to do with Naruto". It’s just a different point on the timeline, shown from different characters' perspectives... but it’s still part of the same story. * Let me add one last example to make this 100% clear once and for all... because this is just madness. Ron says "just act like we have never seen Naruto before" ... obviously it’s not his fault, but the fault of the complete idiots who told him that. Boruto is the exact same universe as Naruto… with just a short timeskip. It’s like going from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden... except in that case, the timeskip was only 3 years. To make it even clearer... when you see the scene where Mitsuki talks to the snake, of course your brain immediately goes "Orochimaru?" and you start making predictions... not "just act like we have never seen Naruto before". I don’t even get why this needs to be explained... whatever. Hope this helps.

2025-05-20 11:26:17 +0000 UTCI have to admit this is one of the only times so far that Ron has been annoying focusing on what VA this creepy character was lol.

2025-05-20 11:22:07 +0000 UTCBoruto was written by a different author than Naruto was. Kishimoto gave them a rough draft but he has not been involved in writing the story anymore. It’s ok to view this as a sequel to Naruto because it is but at the same time if u r watching to see them as adults then yes I would say tamper those expectations cuz this story is about the kids not the adults. This story is a lot like Naruto but u have to accept it for what it is which is a story about Boruto and his generation not Naruto and his generation
