My goat Johnny Young Bosch killed this scene. The dub with Lelouche is so good. Reminds me of Light from Death Note in the dub where his VA absolutely kills it. *spoiler for anyone who hasn’t seen death note but I’ll be super vague* It was at the end of the series where he was laughing.

2025-05-22 06:23:14 +0000 UTCLelouch is like Mao now, his geass is just always active but in both eyes now. Mao used C2s voice to drown out the noise of everyone's thoughts. Lelouch has to use two contacts.

2025-05-20 23:21:17 +0000 UTCFun fact. Johnny Young Bosch is considered one of the G.O.A.T.s in anime English voice overs. He's the English voice for legendary characters Lelouch of Code Geass, Ichigo of Bleach and Jonathan "JoJo" Jostar of Jojo's Bizzare Adventures all 3 of which you are reacting to.

And the next in line to the throne isnt Schneizel, but Odysseus, the brown haired guy who confronted Lelouch when he took the throne. People respect Schneizel more than they do him though because he is too nervous when it comes to decisive military matters.

2025-05-20 08:45:37 +0000 UTCMarianne got her geass from C.C., and Charles from V.V., We already know where CC got hers, and VV got his when he was 10 years old, but we don't know from who. Must be some random geass user 😂

2025-05-20 08:41:44 +0000 UTCI think the double geass just means that his powers are stronger pretty much, he has more effective range and can now geass a whole room of people. I dont think he would've been able to geass all of mankind's consciousness in C's World without him leveling up

2025-05-20 04:04:17 +0000 UTCWhen he said "I thought you may be alive when we found Nunnally" that wasn't them acknowledging that she was alive after the bomb. This was referring to much earlier in season 2. Just to recap, no one knew in season 1 that Lelouch and Nunnally were still alive (they were exiled to Japan) but at the start of season 2 when Charles got ahold of Nunnally and changed people's memories with Geass, Nunnally was found out to be alive and became a Viceroy due to her being royalty. That's when they "found her"

2025-05-20 03:59:12 +0000 UTCI originally watched it in DUB, so it was much easier to follow along. Also having seen Naruto, Charles and Marianne's plan was essentially Infinite Tsukuyomi. All hail Lelouch! 👑

2025-05-20 02:32:23 +0000 UTCalso I think Lelouch getting the Geass in both eyes is supposed to represent him surpassing the emperor/stop his plans + The IDEA of Lelouch Geass growing, Power of Absolute Obedience. So like I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything different in mechanics other than having more peripheral view and looking cool. I’m pretty sure idk tho

2025-05-20 02:16:50 +0000 UTCLelouch's monologue in dub is so good. Johnny yong bosch who voices lelouch elevates this show's dub to the point where I prefer it over sub.

2025-05-20 02:09:22 +0000 UTCTo kinda explain, in C’s world it was the equivalent of Lelouch using his Geass on the dead (although he didn’t technically use it, it was a request). As for that “found nunnaly”statement, they mean during the timeskip before S2 started. I think more of your questions will be answered in the future (don’t actually remember lol) but I’ll refrain from answering more just in case
