2020-02-23 02:43:04 +0000 UTCIt's just that the studio that did season 1 and 2 ( Aniplex) bailed on production at the last minute. Apparently Deen isn't even animating this season. Because the switch was on such short notice the best they can do is use outsourced animators. So this season likely wasnt even animated inside of Japan and it shows. It really is sad what happened to this season because again Meliodas vs Escanor is a truly GOAT anime moment if animated properly, but we still have at least one more season for them to do justice to this series.
