2025-05-30 13:02:13 +0000 UTCA lot of people tend to forget that the manga canon episodes usually don't go too into depth about other beloved characters.....that's why other adaptations are created and different stories and ideas are explored ....a.k.a the anime. We also need to keep in mind that an official episode list is on the official Naruto website...even tho it needs to be updated, most of the episodes are referred to as anime original.....calling everything filler is what the audience tends to do....yes the original story is in the manga ..but the anime leaves room to show other stories and sometimes people care about those stories....are they usually essential to the main story? No....most of the time they are not.....but the point of having other adaptations of a story is the explore things that the original story may not have had the chance to do. The manga canon is the main important story, but sometimes anime original episodes just add a little depth to character and story.

2025-05-28 20:53:23 +0000 UTCI definitely think you're probably okay with doing your current anime canon and manga canon setup for a while (even though there will be lots and lots of ups and downs) however after ep 220-227, i think you should reconsider or atleast evaluate what you wanna do as the scheduling started to get really bad around that time.

Absolutely begging you guys to do double drops because waiting weeks for these episodes to drop is just painful when they are as bad as they are. I know that sounds super Downer and I guess it is but damn comparing it to Naruto it's like man, this is lame

The pace is slow and there are a ton of anime canon stuff which are mostly side quests and does not move the main plot much, or at all, hence being dubbed all fillers. But there are also people loving the additional content.

I think you guys should re-poll it at one point when you guys get used to the world more, and exceptions for certain episodes. Just my opinion though do what you guys want!

2025-05-24 18:53:19 +0000 UTCI do not mind anime canon at all, and will watch whatever route y'all prefer to explore, but just be conscious of there routinely being anywhere between 30-80 anime canon episodes between the 4 main manga canon runs. If we move away from plot points, don't expect it to be covered in the anime canon. For example, after episode 66, you do not hit the main story again until 148 and that run is only 4 episodes and then 30 until the next chunk
