It’s sad that Lelouch died knowing his legacy would be the world hating him. The world would never know that he united them.

2025-05-28 03:19:40 +0000 UTCim confused, is it a spolier and thats why theres no one else mentioning it? In the original ending to this show, you can look it up on youtube, LELOUCH is the one driving that cart. they later cut that part out in the tv shows. just surprised no one is mentioning it. I personally dont know if i would want to know that detail when i first watch the ending i guess.

2025-05-28 03:14:06 +0000 UTCThank you so much for reacting to this amazing show! I will try to give a brief, but clear explanation to Ron's question about the Geass and immortality. I do admit this show is complex and some ideas are still debated within the community. Here is my general understanding about Geass and Codes: The immortal people are called "Code Bearers". They have that red Code symbol somewhere on there body (Charles on his hands and C.C. on her forehead). They cannot be killed in the way that normal humans can. Charles was a Code Bearer after taking V.V.'s code. Lelouch trapped him in C's World and basically asked God/Collective Unconscious to not stop the flow of time and it erased Charles and Marianne as a result because they were trying to do exactly that. Normally, Code Bearers can't die as shown when C.C. has survived gunshots and explosions throughout the show. Geass users can die such as Mao and Lelouch did. The nun (Code Bearer) only was able to die because she stabbed C.C. (Geass user contractee), essentially forcing C.C. to take the nun's Code (otherwise C.C. would die as she was just a Geass user before she took the nun's Code). After C.C. took the nun's Code, the nun became mortal and offed herself. Marianne was a unique case because she was a Geass user that could transfer her consciousness to other bodies while her actual body died. The show did say that one day her mind might be able to return to her actual body, which is why Charles took her body and hid it away. If her mind ever returned to her body, she would still be able to be physically killed because she was just a Geass user. And if she couldn't transfer her mind to a nearby person like she did with Anya, then all of her would die (mind and body). Hopefully this helps!

2025-05-28 00:44:23 +0000 UTCYou could... maybeee.. react to the official movie that follows this up. For June movie reaction. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection. And to answer your question, once Geass evolves to a certain point, you can take the witch's immortality. So Charles Geass was used and evolved enough to take V.V.s immortality. C.C. was trying to train up someone to take hers away. In exchange for immortality, you lose the powers of your Geass. But you can gift Geass to someone else and continue the cycle. It's explained across the entirety of the series rather than in one single episode so it's really hard to follow along with it.
