Everyone's experience is different! And from my experience watching this anime and specifically Sakura, I remember more Ls than Ws. Does that mean i cant speak my mind during scenes with her in it???
Is she strong. Yes. Did she grow as a character yes. Is she prob the best med ninja, yes. I dont think she is a scrub. But i just remeber so many times she dropped the ball in shippuden.... Thats just my experience though.
Doesnt mean my opinion cant change in this anime. We shall see!

This is the point that I'm trying to make with all of the people arguing with me that there's a 15-year time jump. When you don't include any of that training in any of the storylines and she's blatantly not that skilled in the two other series that they're in and then magically she is now regardless of whether or not she could be training for those 15 years, when you don't show it it's poor storytelling

I think this is more Kishimoto's fault for not giving her enough moments in shippuuden, than it is the Boruto author's fault. I was very hyped by this episode to finally see her going at it like that

This video was ??...Ron you quite literally said "How does she have time to work AND be a mum" which is common misogynistic rhetoric used in todays society as well as saying "in her kitchen?" when Michelle mentioned training. Its not an accusations of sexism, you quite literally then and there, were in fact being misogynistic. That's not up for debate. 2025-06-26 11:48:16 +0000 UTC(no spoilers contained here for further into Boruto, this is all vague pre-boruto info) Kishimoto didn't unlock "writing women properly" so it took the light novel writers (idk about all of the novels, but several of them Kishimoto basically only signed off on what was written, but he didn't actually do the writing himself) to give her the fruits of a training arc and some actually relevant power scaling in between shipp and boruto. They actually did something with her whole "god like chakra control" in novels, hell even in the last they made that relevant with her having essentially genjutsu immunity. Basic take away seems to be that everyone writes sakura better than the guy who created her/the entire story.

I really dislike the fact that you guys lately talk over more and more, back in the day you paused for every word, nowadays you just talk about something during half the episode, at that point for me it is not a watch party, its annoying background noise which makes me go and watch it myself instead... This annoyed me more in Bleach, where you just talk over the half the episode, I am also watching One Piece for the first time with u here and I hope u don't do this in later episodes as well, since its kind of annoying. Being genuine matters a lot, ofc if u fake this stuff to please us its gonna be meh, u will lie to us, but u wont enjoy it as much yourselves. So if u want to genuinely continue this way, you will lose a lot of fans if u can't fix this issue. Only my opinion though, maybe I am wrong and this is my personal view, others maybe like the discussions in the middle of the best fights in the whole anime.
