Yagura was the Mizukage and one of the Jinchuriki’s in Naruto Shippuden but there wasn’t much backstory on him or much on the other Jinchuriki’s as well.

2025-07-01 19:23:44 +0000 UTCThe hate Boruto gets isn’t fair. Naruto ended many many years ago and now it is Boruto pls. Yes it hurts that Boruto isn’t as phenomenal as Naruto, and it’s disappointing that our goats aren’t shining the way we expected. But Boruto tells a different story, it’s about a new gen growing up in a peaceful era thanks to the goats. Naruto is mostly filled with deep philosophical themes like the nature of good and evil, breaking the cycle of hatred, trauma and burden, war and its consequences, identity and recognition, loneliness, duty, fking PAIN, the will of fire dattebayo. Boruto lacks darkness, it is way more chill and it explores progress. It shows a modern shinobi world filled with tech and new challenges and up to these eps, I see It also expands on themes like friendship, family and love. Im not ignoring Boruto’s anime flaws, I believe Pierrot could have waited longer before airing it and maybe adopted a seasonal format like many modern anime. Still I find anime canons and fillers enjoyable. I like how it explores the world in greater depth, develops side characters, and takes its time building the story. Btw I absolutely love the reaction thanks to Michelle and Ron for giving my boy Boruto a chance

Can we all just chill like the 1% instead of turning every episode into a war?

2025-07-01 14:44:36 +0000 UTCThis kinda pertained to the last drop & a bit of this episode drop but I have a few things to say. Glad to know that Michelle watches the filler. IMO for the long run, if you want more scenes of other minor characters or know their potential and abilities, they’re most likely going to be filler episodes (from what my memory can recall). You don’t have to react to them and could watch them on your own time if you guys want, but IMO think it’d be good for you guys to watch some of them (on or off recording) so you know and are aware of each character’s strength and capabilities. Although some comments are telling you to skip this arc,. I think it’s a good way to understand what kind of character Boruto (or any other characters) is during arcs like this; from his similarities and differences to Naruto. And of course you’ll be able to see his progress as a growing character. Also the fact that if you do skip arcs like these, sometimes there’s these characters that come back into the story, you won’t have no info on them or don’t know the connection our main characters have with them. Just like how you guys skipped the filler arc of Utakata (6 tails jinchuriki in Shippuden) and then watched the scene with Pain taking him away and not knowing the context or getting to know him & then he returned later as one of the reanimation and also Naruto finding out then that he was a jinchuriki also. But not hating you for skipping filler arcs but just something to be informed about and sharing my thoughts and opinion.
