So how come he didn't sense anything off about anything that was going on? Well, because he was working for Aizen from the very beginning. He didn't need to be hypnotized, that's what it meant.

2025-07-04 16:30:37 +0000 UTC*No Spoilers *Explanation on the Kaname Tosen thing that Aizen said: Basically, everyone who sees Kyoka Suigetsu being released, even once in their entire life, will forever be subject to Aizen's perfect hypnosis whenever he releases it, even if they don't see when he does it. However, Tosen is blind; therefore, he has never and will never see him release his Zanpakutō. What Unohana caught up on was that Aizen's hypnosis never fooled Tosen; he always knew whenever Aizen would use his Zanpakuto it was all an illusion and just played along.
