As for the names, from Crunchyroll's news page: First, some context. In the original Tower of God WEBTOON, the main character is named “Bam” (밤 in Korean) meaning “Night.” In the anime adaptation, the main character is called “Yoru” (夜 in Japanese) which means the exact same thing. This also happens with another main character named “Rachel” both in the original WEBTOON comic and subtitles on Crunchyroll, but in Korean (라헬) and Japanese (ラヘル) are both pronounced “LA-HE-LU,” closer to the original Hebrew and how the name Rachel appears in the Korean translation of the Bible, which SIU confirmed the connection in 2010.

2020-04-19 05:20:28 +0000 UTCA little clarity on the princess selection (all of this is in this episode), Khun's sister (unnamed) AND his half sister Maria were in the selection to become a Princess of Jahad. Khun was "convinced" by his half sister Maria to help her be picked and she was chosen over his own sister. Maria then betrayed him. In the episode it says Maria used him, so I'm guessing she was just playing him the entire time.
