Said he’s waited a long time to possess this body, even with turbo granny chipping in saying she wish she could’ve possessed him herself. There’s just so many hints to say that this is the most powerful Yokai. We have been introduced to and is a forced to be reckoned with. I think he’s feeding off of Jiji sympathy showing him everything that is true as far as I can tell but at the same time I think this curse has become way way way too twisted. It’s showing him what would make him feel like it’s OK for him to be possessed. When he is obviously he has almost 0 control. That’s something we have yet to see. And if Jiji as a treasure amount treasures for spirits to find as a host to possess for him not to be able to have any control at all I think speaks for self to show how powerful this thing is. I’m sorry. Gut tells me the evil eye not to be trusted it may have a really dark past and villains are made. They are not born, but this is how many years of built-up negative emotions to have evil in your name. I think he’s purposely showing all of his sad relatable, humanity like memories because someone like Jiji I think because of how long he’s been trying to possess him he knows as in the spirit that these memories will make him feel sympathetic. I think this will resolve in him completely, taking over his mind and eventually the curse evil eye after getting almost full possession will enact his will, and Jiji won’t be able to stop it. I just started reading the manga, but I’ve started at the beginning. I’m not even up to where the anime is. This is my prediction though is that this is something that’s going to make us feel very sympathetic, but really it’s been too long that it has just corrupted and gone Rotten and has become a true embodiment of evil and it will not be able to be contained.

Too much hate he literally uses souls suffering, their grudges their hatred, all negative emotions from the tormented souls around him and manifest that into physical form such as a soccer ball, which we know Jiji loves soccer and also plays into how this Yokai just wants to play. But he made it crystal clear he wants to destroy all of humanity and he seems powerful AF. He’s definitely more powerful than turbo granny from what I can see so he’s more powerful than Okarun
