Realistically, if I was locked up in prison like this and actually had a chance to escape, I might take their side depending on how much torment I’ve been through.

So I would assume there’s a poison poison fruit not just the venom venom fruit because they have two different meanings. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people say that spider or snake is poisonous. I always have to hold my thought but in my mind, I’m like it’s venomous.

Eventually luffys growth becomes exponential, just like the other shonen mc's you reacted to, Ichigo and Naruto. I like to think his development starts here due to against the odds circumstances, up until now luffy has been taking it relatively easy since he's had no idea what he'll be up against
