2025-07-31 12:15:57 +0000 UTCYou will slowly see when Toei slacks off on some episodes, usually they let a B-Team do couple of scenes so the A-Team can rest up. You will find couple of episodes with bad animation/pacing/padding but during important scenes they deliver.

Yeah, there are others with better pacing, better animation, and all that. I enjoy all those too. But there's something about One Piece that keeps it at the top for me. I think a big part of it is that it's run so long, so we've been with these characters for a lot of time. It really does feel like an adventure. At this point, I've been watching it for more than half of my life, and being a weekly anime, it's one of the things that has been a constant all this time for me.

There’s a remake coming from another studio in a couple of years, and you already know it’s gonna be NEXT-LEVEL with modern anime and pacing will be fixed. The current anime isn’t even finished yet and you’re still far from catching up! That remake is guaranteed to be legendary. Everything One Piece touches turns literally into a hit: Manga, anime, live action, movies, TCG, sports collabs, merch you name it.
