2025-07-27 17:34:16 +0000 UTCthese comments downplaying blackbeard is wild. Its been shown he repeatedly takes the first hit in every fight - BB vs Ace, against Luffy, and now against Magellan. Whether thats due to his arrogance or overconfidence in winning said fights is up to your interpretation, but he's clearly not a pushover based on what you've seen so far. Just the fact he's injured Shanks, implied fair and square and not in a sneak attack, puts him at the highest tier of basically every one piece character you've been introduced to. Everyone likes to hype up Shanks but forgets BB already fought him and survived, way back when he was still on whitebeards ship. BB has always been crazy strong, overpowered devil fruit or not
