Also to answer some of your questions about re:zero the web novel came first then light novel came second and its still going strong right now. The anime ended back in 2016 right where the most recent light novel book had released for re:zero. The anime is based off of the light novel which is an edited version of the webnovel and so far the author is still pumping out the light novel as fast as he can. So we might get a season 2 sometime in the future but at the moment we did get an annoucement for an OVA episode VERY RECENTLY which might entail a season 2 annoucement! So I know you guys both have questions but until they announce season 2 we will have to wait. P.S the arc you just finished actually ends kinda on a sad cliffhanger but imo the anime staff ended it on a happy note so that it doesn't piss off people waiting for season 2 lol.
