Initially, in one of the Slime episodes, we thought about just going ahead and replacing Slime with The Promised Neverland. For those who missed that convo: I read the beginning of the first book at Barnes and Noble and was instantly hooked, so I stopped and told Ron we HAVE to react to this show (to which y'all responded to us in the comments that it's great but to only watch Season 1).
But then we remembered that the land of Sushi Squad is not a dictatorship but a democracy, so we're here with a poll to let y'all exercise your power to vote for the replacement show lol.
HOWEVER, I would like to present my case that I (Michelle) would love to start with The Promised Neverland (Season 1 only) so that I can read the manga when we are done. I've been itching to read a completed manga series and this one really caught my interest :D The second place winner of this poll will then follow right after, so for this poll you will actually have the opportunity to vote for more than 1 show :D
FYI: Ron and I have decided to give isekai a break to give a different genre a chance: thriller/horror, but we will go back to isekai eventually because there are still so many other good isekais we need to check out!

Even if Parasyte wins it's short and has really good storytelling. It's a remake of a classic from like 1970 written by one of the father of manga. I do recommend going Promised Neverland and only react to season 1 as it's only 12 episodes and it ends in good spot that maybe not even read more. Even the manga goes down little bit in story, but manga still better than what anime season 2 did. Then would recommend Erased for something different for you guys as you WILL DEFINITELY LOVE Erased and it's only fully complete in 12 episode story too. Parasyte might be last in your choices.

Also, as a substitute for a time-traveling story such as Erased, you can consider putting Steins;Gate in a poll. I just finished Steins;Gate, and I'm liking it a lot better than Vinland Saga (was my second favorite), and believe it or not, Hollywood was considering making a live-action movie for it at one point.

I've only seen like the first 3 episodes of erased, I've seen a good majority of parasite, and I've probably seen about less than 10 episodes of the promised neverland. Promised neverland and parasite are both very creepy. I really wish classroom of the elite was in this poll.

Erased is a great quick show but some people think it trips over itself a bit. Parasyte, to me, is about the same quality of show as Death Note. Not really any bad options here
