Was I referencing to something wrong? Akashi wasn't saying that his hard work is why he wins, he is just saying winning is himself. That is what I was referencing that you can't really say Mamba Mentality to Akashi. Oh well you will figure it out later in the story more with our Red Hair =). Thanks for article anyway for Kobe. Ps. Kobe never said in words like "Because I always win and I am always right"

Mamba mentality was training harder than anybody else and playing through even if you were injured. That was true grit and winning through sheer willpower. Kobe learned that attitude from watching how MJ won his rings.
