Added 2024-04-22 13:49:12 +0000 UTCSushi Squad! It is about that time!!! We are going to be starting a NEW SHOW! We went back and forth on this poll in particular. And decided we wanted to mix things up a bit, and also give you guys a chance to shift the genre! 😱
So we are adding 3 different types of shows! All shows have been recommended to us and we are also interested in all 3, so its a WIN-WIN! (Don't forget, this slot was originally going to be "non-anime", so that is why we are being a bit flexible here).
And DW, if your show does not win, we will add to the next poll! (Aside from parasyte. If that doesnt win, we prob will watch on our own lol).
We are grateful for you guys. Truly. And we hope to keep adding value to you and never make you regret supporting us here!

2024-04-23 12:52:10 +0000 UTCGuys if we look at their release schedule, these options are great: Date-Ship (shounen battle anime) One Piece (shounen battle anime) Hunter Hunter (shounen battle anime) Avatar (shounen battle "anime" (cartoon)) While I haven't seen: Ninja kamui, frieren, or solo leveling I'm pretty sure they're battle-anime and all likely shounen Ranking of kings (technically shounen battle anime lol) Kuroko no basket, shounen sports. Parasyte (seinen I think) but nonetheless BATTLE. Idk about the live action option and it's sat at 6% so I'ma ignore it for this chat anyhow: But with the two anime choices, food wars is a cooking anime (you could say battle for the memes, but they aint sword fighting, it's masterchef the anime fgs) With kaguya it's a romance comedy, something Michelle has wanted on the channel for a while now My personal hopes are that Food Wars wins because noone I watch has reacted to it, kaguya most have and I love kaguya sama love is war (chika best girl tho). So I hope that Kaguya is next winner on the next poll, but utlimately they've picked 3 options they/the audience have asked for. IF you truly like none of the options, don't vote and wait for a poll you like. They upload literal hours of content per week, and hopefully given you're here something is to your fancy!

It's a show that isn't bad and a few episodes are bangers but most of the time I was kinda bored. And don't get me wrong, I watched ATLA like for 10+ times now lol. But I think Kaguya is the better choice here (havent seen many food wars reactions so I would certainly enjoy that as well, but only if they can deal with the fan service). It doesnt try anything else than comedy. Love is war is not a bad show, but its not great either. With Food wars(ecchi) and Love is war (romance) they should have gone to My dress up darling instead. At least in a 2 in one with only 12 episodes

I'l obviously give it a watch either way, but I can't deny that I woulda hoped for something like Overlord, Akudama Drive, Mushoku Tensei or Death Parade (More leaning torwards shorter shows tho so we get trough more good anime and you dont have to remember things over 10 seasons from 20 anime at the same time)
