The episode prior Ging tells Gon that Kite has a weapon that rolls when he's adamant on not dying, so he didn't reincarnate the way we assumed from being eaten but rather soul transferring to the body of the girl that the Koala Ant killed. Which would make sense to the start of this episode where the Koala Ant talks about the power of the soul. (Hope this Makes Sense)

He doesn't know how to be a good father and he is a Hunter which can be a dangerous environment for a kid so left his kid with his grandmother and cousin. He believe that his son would grow up to be curious of his him, be a hunter and go look for him, so he left clues for Gon. It's like an advanced version of the game Police & thief and Hide & Seek. Can't believe we are at the second last episode already~😭

2024-04-27 22:46:05 +0000 UTChxh is my personal favorite anime that ive seen so far and its definitely up there as an example for creative writing where it's different from a traditional story in that it has so many open paths to write from, kinda comparable to the opposite of how youre warned about opening up your options too much in anything because limitations allow for more creativity. I think hxh does it really well though and shows that it's possible to create a non-traditional story like this and still maintain the creativity and cohesion. I just personally wanna see how it could all ideally be tied together at the end.

But during all those years, Ging was not just chasing his own dreams, he was preparing Gon for the world, and sort of taking care of him in his own way. Some people are just not made to be parents, and some people just don't give a single sh*t. With that in mind, the fact Ging has made any sort of effort at all, let alone this these specialised methods to help Gon grow, makes me believe that Ging is a good dad. Unconventional, sort of neglectful, but he made sure Gon wouldn't be alone and that he'd still know his family and that they would meet one day. Ging cares about Gon, even if he doesn't know how to show his love. So yeah, in my opinion, Ging is a decent father. Not the best, not the worst, but he doesn't deserve continuous hate when this man literally created a whole world just for Gon to use as a playground, I think it's so sweet lol

I wish he had the health of Oda so he could pump out chapters like One Piece. If he did, this could easily be one of the longest mangas. The manga now is like a whole new series

The koala basically said "i killed the human thinking i was doing a good dead and redeeming myself in this second life, then realized i was just making myself feel good. I'm apologizing to you to also make myself feel good. i'll probably not change and keep killing, and just hoping i can somehow stop during this second life. or i'll end up just killing myself, hoping to do another reset". and kite's response is "i'm gonna make sure you do what's needed for redemption and keep you so busy you wont even have a chance to go down the wrong path. and if you mess up, i'll kill you" which is something the ant already deserves. so he's giving him a second chance and a proper path to redemption. this is a more extreme version of the tough love shown with kite punching kid gon for being reckless (who was a stranger at the time lol). sorry for the long message but i always see this scene getting mixed understanding lol i dont think there is any of "the king" mixed into kite's personality

It's almost a whole new series.

The next arc (in the manga) is quite far progressed, and also is extremely large and ambitious.

Like both got hurt, especially Killua. So parting ways is the best way to get distance for now and reunite later. And for the path of the story for now, like the next episode, it ends with a sentence, which is literally the point of the whole story.

They actually do a great job in my opinion on how they ended the anime because obviously it’s not where the manga ends. I’d say there’s around 50-60 chapters with a shit ton of info after the anime ends. That’s one thing I love abt how Togashi (hxh creator) writes his stories. He can completely leave his MC out of the story and it will still be interesting asf. Hopefully one day he will finish . His wife is the creator of sailor moon so we want his wife to help him finish the story lol.

And if recall, Ging is not running away from Gon, in fact, he plot the path (to some extend) that Gon is walking currently, and growing, which is what the election showed that Ging is extremely good at in terms of foreshadowing the future

And like Con said, Togashi knows where his story is going for sure. It's a passion project for him, he's extremely determined to finish it. I feel the publisher (Shounen Jump) has given him a lot of leeway with his chronic back pain and hiatus' because he's got a story in his brain that EVERYONE wants the continuation and ending to.

There is a legend that one work (Assassination Classroom) started serialization and was completed while Hunter Hunter was on hiatus. Many Hunter Hunter fans hope that Hunter Hunter will be completed before they die. And the author had released a draft for the final episode in case he couldn't write it to the end.

Forgetting characters from the same arc in HxH doesn't bode well for returning characters in One Piece XD I know its a nit pick but the way Ron pronounces Alluka is getting to me XD. He says it "A-Loo-ka" with the emphasis on the "Loo" when it should be "Ah-lu-ka" with the emphasis on the "Ah"

Like you have some deep characters and some shallow. Some characters very complicated while some others just very simple. Some are righteous, some are evil and some are morally grey. Each character has their own convictions and is the main character of their life. Like Meruem for eg. In most anime, the world revolves around the MC. But in HxH, Gon is just one of many characters that revolve around the world.

2024-04-27 02:39:54 +0000 UTCTo answer some of your guys' questions, the HXH manga goes on for about 60 more chapters (the anime ended on 339 and there's 400 I believe) and the last one was published in December of 2022. Some of your questions will be answered in the last episode, so no worries there. Togashi, the mangaka for HXH, has had chronic back problems that have led him to be unable to draw for the manga and as a result that is why so little chapters have been made. Personally, I believe that he knows what he wants to do with the story and has the thing mapped out, but its the fact that he won't let anyone draw the manga aside from him that leads to the slow publishing times. There was news late last year that gave us the endings of HXH, although very vague, that he had in mind. He did include an ending in the case that he passed before he could finish the manga which is an interesting read if you guys are up for it. Also do you plan to react to the OPs and EDs after? He was saying he took steps to get stuck in the cycle of rebirth and released her from it's grasp by killing her and not letting her be tortured. So when her bodies was digested by ants and when it was reborn, her soul wasn't there because it was free from the cycle of rebirth. That allowed Kite's soul to take control/live as the red haired girl's chimera form. Also, it was already revealed that she was Kite reborn (correct me if I'm wrong) P.S. Never expected Koala to be one of the characters to be having a deep conversation with Kite. Seems weird xD Also, I love this ending song a lot! It brings a lot of weight to their journey and induces a feeling bittersweet feeling as they are moving on to their next chapters.
